IEDC KMEA in collaboration with PROTOCUBE Community organized a 2 day offline workshopon ‘IoT‘ (Internet of things) .The resource person for the grand event is Mr. Sharan K S who is a
Founder of PROTOCUBE & S5 student of EC department in KMEA Engineering college.
Day1 activities include two sessions –morning & afternoon session. The session started with the
welcome speech by the Honorable Principal Dr.Amar Nishad sir and Vice Principal Dr.Rekha
Lakshmanan had give her valuable words and Faculties also gave their words.Then principal
had inaugurated PROTOCUBE community officially. After that the session moved on with the
clear cut intro by the eminent resource person about Iot and then had the IoT projects using
both software and Hardware. The session was very informative as well as interesting. The
volunteers were always present to provide technical support and refreshment.The session
ended by 4:00 pm.
Day-2 activities include three sessions – morning ,game session and afternoon. The session
started with interesting IoT projects.After that we had a game session which was really
enjoyable.After that the session moved on. At the end of the session certificates were provided
to all participants. Group work had made the students interested for 2 days. In the end , the
event was a grand success and the participants were satisfied and looking forward to getting
such opportunities to develop and to utilize it at their best.
